Websites for the businesses around the corner. So people can see how good they are.
No website builder, no off-the-shelf template. Every page grows out of what makes the place what it is, and loads in under a second even on a weak connection.
How it works
Four steps, no agency runaround.
One conversation, a quarter of an hour. What the place does, who should be calling.
You see the page before you pay anything. Not a moodboard, the finished page.
Written by hand. No template that two hundred other businesses also use.
I put it online, register it with Google and stay reachable afterwards.
Websites
Five businesses, five handwritings.
Rent or buy
You decide which one fits your business better.
You pay for the setup once. After that, hosting, technical upkeep and small ongoing changes are part of the monthly price.
You get the finished website with every agreed file and login. Hosting and upkeep are then yours to handle, or you can leave them with me.
With the rental model, hosting, technical upkeep and small ongoing changes are part of the monthly price. If you buy, the website belongs to you once it is paid in full, and hosting and upkeep can either stay with me or move to you. Larger additions, new pages and extra features are quoted separately. As a small business under § 19 of the German VAT Act I do not charge VAT, so the amount you see is the amount you pay. There is a longer version under what a website costs in Berlin.
Why I do this
I am Luca. The ice cream parlour I used to sit in after school as a kid is gone. So is the shop two streets further along.
Almost none of them closed because the work was bad. They closed because at some point too few people knew they existed. Two streets away everybody knew them, while online all you found was a phone number in a business directory from 2012.
That annoys me. A café, a salon, a workshop usually have more to tell than any chain, they just have nobody to show it. That is where I come in: I build a page where you see in five seconds what is good here, and where two clicks are enough to call or drop by. I work in Berlin and am happy to come to your place for the first conversation.
Usually two people do this job: one designs the page, somebody else rebuilds it afterwards. Things get lost on the way, and what goes live is not quite what you approved. I design and build, so nothing gets lost in between.
I write the code by hand instead of bending a ready-made template into shape. That is why the pages load quickly, look on a phone the way they look on a computer, and can still be changed years from now. And when your opening hours change, you just write to me.
